Registration
The conference will be in-person only. Conference fees are as follows.
Early bird (up to 14 October 2022):
- Full $950
- Student $700
After 14 October 2022:
- Full $1150
- Student $900
The conference fee includes two year membership of AFMS and the cost of the conference dinner. Extra guests to the dinner cost $165/head.
Registration for lifetime members of AFMS is discounted by the cost of two years’ membership: $120 for full, $60 for students.

Information for Overseas Attendees
If you require a visa, when you fill out the registration form you will be asked to provide extra information regarding your visa application. If you choose to provide this information, we will send it to the Australian Department of Home Affairs to expedite your visa application. Please note that you will still need to lodge a visa application yourself.
Visa options:
Participants, attendees and speakers who will not be working, performing or otherwise be paid to contribute at the event may be eligible to apply for the following visa options:

A speaker, presenter, exhibitor, or other contributor invited to participate in an event by an Australian organisation may be eligible to apply for a:

Please note that a the letter of support from an Australian organisation is a legislative requirement for the Temporary Activity (subclass 408)(Invited Participant) visa.
Attendees, speakers and exhibitors who will be working, or otherwise be paid to contribute at the event may be eligible to apply for the following visa options:

Travel exemptions:
Australia has strict border measures in place to protect the health of the Australian community. There is an online portal for lodging travel exemption requests. The applications of multiple travellers within the same group can be linked, so that the requests are considered together. See: https://travel-exemptions.homeaffairs.gov.au/tep.
